The demolition required to convert the Hawthorne House into a ladies’ boutique included removing the kitchen and the small powder room. As a result, the former laundry room was redesigned into an ADA‑accessible restroom, and the exterior door in that area was also removed. Most of the interior doors were taken out as well, along with a portion of the wall between the den and the dining room. This newly opened space now provides flexible square footage that the owner can adapt to their desired layout.
